Actually we're inspired - inspired to mentor young people so that they devise programmes that work with their elders.

Working in the Western town of Sangkhlaburi, Thailand supporting those affected and displaced by the hostilities in Burma (Myanmar), GJ offers dignity, purpose, new opportunities and, of course, mutual respect. It'll be fun - we make no excuses for that! Fun, and a bit of mischief, will be right at the heart of our mission.

With the development of a community village ('Vision Village'), Generation Journey looks to develop a self-sustaining environment that in turn will provide security, purpose and a future for the residents, both Burmese, Mon and Karen.

Through inter-generational programmes, residents both young and old will have a mutually beneficial exchange, carrying forth traditions into the future within a vibrant community.
