| Generation Journey Arrived in Portsmouth from Brighton 23/8/2008, rafted to Lightship, in haste to leave an uncomfortable berth, the engines failed in the shipping channel and Portsmouth entrance was closed for 90 minutes delaying the IofW car ferry and fastcat. Radios throughout the harbour were alive with the name Generation Journey, We had more people talk about GJ than the whole of history together. Cabinboy tom again quick to the rescue with a record breaking anchor release and engine repair. |
